Dr. Holly Navid is a seasoned therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist, providing comprehensive care for children, adults, and the elderly, backed by over 20 years of experience.
Graduating with honors from the University of Houston's Doctor of Optometry program, Dr. Navid ranked at the top of her class. She further honed her skills during an internship at the renowned Kresge Eye Center in Detroit, Michigan, focusing on the diagnosis and management of ocular infections and eye diseases. Dr. Navid has developed a particular expertise in fitting challenging contact lenses, alongside managing conditions such as glaucoma, dry eyes, and co-managing cataract & Lasik surgeries.
After her education, Dr. Navid excelled in a leading optometric practice in Michigan, earning the 'Doctor of the Year' award for outstanding patient satisfaction. This accolade highlights her dedication to patient care, emphasizing her commitment to listening attentively and ensuring all questions are answered, aiming for the best possible examination experience. She also places a significant emphasis on the overall health of her patients as it pertains to their vision.
Dr. Navid shares her life with her husband, David Navid, an orthopedic surgeon, and their three children: Daniel, who is pursuing a medical degree at TCOM in Fort Worth; Sarah, studying at UTMB in Galveston; and Hannah, a freshman at Northeastern University, currently studying abroad in London.
In her leisure time, Dr. Navid is passionate about tennis, running, and maintaining her fitness.
